As the Galinstanian attempts to replicate the shape of Zuri’s face, Zuri laughs and names them “Spark” because “they make everything feel more fun.” Zuri’s playful, joyful nature is evident even at this age. Book 3 — Growing Up (age-14)
At fourteen, Zuri is a bright, energetic presence among the youth cohort. His bond with Spark deepens as they explore the settlement together, often finding Galinstanian youth to play with. At twenty-nine, Zuri is a university mentor and youth engagement specialist in the Resonance Stewardship Program. He works with Spark, his bonded Galinstanian, to develop programs that help young people—both human and Galinstanian—connect through play, curiosity, and shared exploration. During the rescue, he helps maintain the resonance perimeter, using his natural joyfulness to keep the team’s spirits up during tense moments.
